Slowly my work room is turning into a pile of boxes.

At first it was a bit sad to start boxing things up, or rather, the fact that it was not by choice. But there is something nice about seeing everything bundled up together.

There is still plenty to do even in this one room, but I have found some interesting things, things that have been pushed into the corners & overlooked. Like a whole box of scraps from plastic bags, from when I crocheted them a few years back. Why would I keep something like that? It probably seemed too wasteful to throw it away, certainly it could be used for some craft?
I end up keeping a lot of things around for that reason. I've been tossing my empty thread spools in a bag forever, only to realize they are in the triple digits now. I always thought it would be neat to cut them into slices and link the circles togheter to form a wall hanging. But I lack the proper cutting tools, so for now I listed them on Etsy, hoping someone else would appreciate their crafting potential. (I'm keeping the cones, which I have fewer of, for another project I have in mind)

There are a lot of things sitting around here that I've been meaning to get rid of, a lot of things that were given to me that I know I won't be able to use. I've been adding the items on Etsy as I box them up. I feel a little crazy to be doing that know, in the midst of the quick move, but they need to be boxed for shipping or moving either way.

Things are looking pretty good right now, I'll post the details in a minute and update as I find out more. Things are falling into place and it looks like this whole debacle will be a good thing in the end. Not on our timing, but hey, I might have a kitty in a month.
