Yes, we are nerds
Poor Justin. He has been eagerly waiting for the new Smash Brothers game to come out since they announced it years ago. (In college all of the guys played that game constantly, there were even tournaments) They pushed back the release date again & again, but it finally came out on Sunday... the weekend we were out of town for his mom's birthday! It wouldn't have been so bad, but the stores close so early on Sundays that we didn't make it back in time. (There was much pouting)
But I think it was a good thing that he had to wait after all! When we went to pick up the game I found a like-new Wii guitar. We've been dying to get a second controller ever since a friend brought over his 360 with 2 guitars ~ so much fun. But they weren't selling them without the game until this month, and the prices were painfully high at $70. (We were waiting to get the off-brand for $50, but the used one ended up being the same price)
But, as excited as I am, I don't think I love it quite as much as Indy loves his feet.
With fuzzy toes like that, how could you resist?
We had a great time this weekend with Justin's parents & siblings, I always love going over there. We even brought Indy along to re-unite the brothers, but neither of them seemed to really care. We drove the whole way there through a fit of snow flurries ~ even though I was in flip flops the day before! Before we left I snapped a shot of the snow bits stuck in a little spider web outside of our apartment. It was too warm for them to stick anywhere else!
